Louis Max & David Duband, Chardonnay 2022

Louis Max (who are based in Burgundy, whose winemaking roots date back to 1859) have partnered with the Languedoc's David Duband, to bring us wines showcasing the best of Burgundian elegance and the Languedoc's vibrancy. An unlikely marriage, but nevertheless a success and one we're all here for. Chardonnay 2022 is a wonderfully vibrant wine. The fruit was taken from various sites in the Languedoc but always with clay-limestone soil; after harvest the grapes were aged on lees in stainless steel prior to bottling. A nose of citrus, green apple and pear combine with a touch of minerality on the bright palate. A great pair with soft cheeses or chicken.
